VillageFaces is a journey to the artisans of Latin America and an exploration of traditions and innovations in their art. Curator Ron Wilco visited villages and cities in nine countries with the best of the best artisans who are creating museum quality masterpieces, which he then purchased using fair trade practices. Along the way Ron collected photographs, interviews, videos, and stories that illustrate the incredible skills and patience of these artisans, and provide a glimpse into often unexplored cultures. VillageFaces helps visitors learn a little about these cultures while offering the opportunity to own a handcrafted original piece of art from Latin America.
