Stanley’s Bringing Some Theater Your Way in 2017

DCPA’s Off-Center Announces Partnership with International Comedy Trio A.C.E and Stanley Marketplace for Off-Site Production in Spring 2017

Off-Center, a signature line of programming at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is proud to announce a partnership with international comedy trio A.C.E. to create an off-site production at Stanley Marketplace in the Spring of 2017.

“We are really looking forward to taking on new artistic challenges with this show,” said Charlie Miller, Curator of Off-Center. “With our recent production of Sweet & Lucky, we occupied a 16,000 square foot warehouse and built an immersive world for the audience to explore. With this new show, we are excited to be working in public spaces, creating a story that will change how audiences perceive the world around them. The amazing new 22-acre Stanley Marketplace will be the perfect setting for this hilarious new theatrical experience created by Denver’s own A.C.E.”

“We’re big fans of collaboration, and we leaped at the chance to work with the team from Off-Center,” said Bryant Palmer, Chief Storyteller at Stanley Marketplace. “They excel at producing one-of-a-kind theatrical experiences, and we’re building a marketplace in an old aviation manufacturing facility with a rich history. That sounds like a perfect combination to us.”

This production is supported by The Wallace Foundation’s Building Audiences for Sustainability initiative.

Additional details including title will be announced at a later date.
